I've been trying to spruce up my place and finally decorate it. The kitchen was a good enough place to start and so I needed some curtains to get it all going. I was toying with the idea of making my own but I couldn't find a fabric I liked enough. A friend pointed me in the direction of the urban outfitters website and low and behold the perfect curtains.
I love the green color and the little blue and orange birdies made them perfect for me. they look amazing in my kitchen too. I'm going to buy some blue paint and do one of the walls in my kitchen and then I'll be finished with that room.
My next task shall be my stairs. I can't stand the yucky carpet on them and I'm pretty set with the idea of having wood installed on them. I need to have a fellow come out and give me an estimate and then that will be my summer project. 34 days till summer vacation by the way!!
